No. 10. Cottage from Bykowina
The tenth issue of the series focuses on one of the latest (in terms of time of foundation) permanent exhibition facilities of the Museum – the cottage from Bykowina ( today’s Ruda Śląska district). A modest building with a simple structure and layout, ended as a house of the typical Silesian working family, and then – as decided by the heirs – it was moved to the open-air museum in Chorzów, where it is the place where the museum arranged an exhibition presenting the reality of rural trade.
